Project Overview

The Palestinian Youth Empowerment Programme”, funded by the EU Neighbourhood Instrument and is implemented through complementary actions led by UNFPA, Sharek Youth Forum in partnership with the Centre for Youth Economic Empowerment, and Enabel in Palestine. The Overall Objective of the Palestinian Youth Empowerment Programme is to improve Palestinian youth’s contribution to economic, social and public life. The general objective of the Action is: “Enhanced Palestinian young people's employability and economic empowerment.”The specific objective of the Action is:“Young women and men are better equipped to access inclusive and decent employment opportunities.”Contribution to specific objective will be achieved through three results focusing on enhancing youth’s capacities to access wage- and self-employment opportunities:The first result relates to the development and operation of a First Employment Facility, The second result, continuous learning opportunitieswill be supported to enhance the employability of unemployed graduates of vocational training and higher education institutions, as well as youth workers;Third result on business development aims to enhance access to self-employment;In this context , Enabel is in the process of launching two call for proposals under two lots ( Lot 1, Lot2) for the 2nd and 3rd results of YEP project to partner with local Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Private Sector Umbrella Organizations (PSUOs) and training providers as co-applicants to support the achievement of the targeted results.Lot 1 is composed of the assessment of the received applications from Private Sector Umbrella Organizations (PSUOs) and training providers as co-applicants under the 2nd result whereas Lot 2 is composed of the assessment of the received applications from local Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) under the 3rd resultAccordingly, has contracted General Consulting and Training (GCT), to support them in assessing the applications received in both Lots in the two phases: firstly, Concept Notes, and secondly, Proposals. according to their requirements and expectations.
