Project Overview
The Palestinian-Finnish Education Program (PALFEP) is a Finland Project aimed to support the Palestinian education sector and had been implemented in accordance with the Palestinian Five -Year Education Development Plan (2000-2005). It was aimed mainly at improving the quality of Palestinian basic education by supporting the implementation, evaluation and development of new Palestinian curriculum, and producing efficient learning materials to facilitate the decentralization and coordination processes in the educational administration. The main objective of this assignment was to develop the administration of education system by reviewing the newly developed job descriptions and the organizational structure of Ministry, as well as to provide the necessary training and orientation to the team of special tasks on how to further develop the job descriptions and other aspects of the administrative system.Within this program's framework, the representative of Finland project management has contracted GCT to provide consultancy services toward building the institutional capacity of MoEHE in order to support the achievement of program's objectives.
