Project Overview

Palestinian Hydro- Logy Group (CSO’s) and Women’s Affairs Committee were implemented the Partnership Grant Program (PGPII), funded by World Bank and managed by Welfare Association. The program's activities included the implementation of environmental and agricultural projects in 13 Palestinian villages in Ramallah, Hebron and Gaza Strip.One of the major aspects of PGPII related to train and builds the capacities of local organization at the targeted villages. This training and capacity building part consist of several training course on community participation, strategic planning, enhancement the role of women, accounting and financial system and computer skills. Palestinian Hydro- Logy Group and Women’s Affairs Committee planned to conduct these training programs for the targeted local organizations and contracted an eligible training company to undertake this mission, so it contracted GCT to design and deliver the community participation training programs in Ramallah and Hebron by its professional trainers. The main objective of these training programs is to provide an institutional infrastructure at the targeted sites and villages by PGPII by building their capacities in different fields such as community participation.Within this context and to ensure the continuation of providing these services in professional manner that meets the customers’ needs and expectations, The Palestinian Hydrology Group has contracted GCT to provide consultancy services in Palestine.
