Closing Ceremony of Training Program for Palestinian Judges in “Forgery Detection” – Funded by USAID

The Palestinian Justice Enhancement Program (PJEP) & High Judicial Council celebrated the closing of a training program in Forgery Detecti...on for judges in cooperation with General Consulting and Training (GCT).

The main objective of training was to enhance the participants’ knowledge about forgery detection and improve their scientific practical skills to deal with the largest challenges facing the Judges towards increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of forgery cases management in the real work environment. The program was developed in line with the actual training needs of the target group, based on the results of the Needs Assessment that conducted one week before the training on a representative sample of the target group.

The training implementation started on Thursday March 6th at 3:00 pm in the Ankars Suites & Hotel in Ramallah, with a participation of representatives of all relevant parties; Chemonics International represented by the chief of party Mrs. Teresa Cannady and the Senior Training Specialist Mrs. Nadia Saad, General Consulting & Training (GCT) represented by the General Manager Mr. Ali Safi, and High Judicial Council represented by the Judge Assad Mubarak.

The total number of participants was 25 judges (5 Female: 20 Male) from different Palestinian governorates (Ramallah, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron, Nablus, Jenin, Tulkarem).

The program was an important opportunity for the participated judges to exchange experience and transfer knowledge between themselves from one side, and with the training expert from the other side who has an extensive professional experience in judicial sector (judges, courts) at the regional level, over 25 years in the field: Mr. Amjad Atieh - Criminal Expert- from Jordan.See More
