Development of Public Notification Policies and Communication Plans for 27 LGUs
General Consulting and Training (GCT), in association with National Center for Sustainable Development (NCD) has awarded a contract recently form Global Communities (Formerly CHF), to provide service titled “Development of Public Notification Policies and Communication Plans for 27 LGUs” – funded by USAID.

This project aims mainly to provide technical assistance to 27 partner LGUs (Tubas, Tulkarem, Illar, Kofur Thuluth ,  Attil , Aqraba, A1 Yamun, Qabalan, Anabta, A1 Ram, A1 Bireh, Bir Zeit, Jericho, Abu Dis, Yatta, Beit Jala, Beit Sahur, Halhul, Beit Fajjar, Adh-Dhahiriyah, Nablus, Bethlehem, Qalqiliya, Salfit, Jenin, Ramallah, and Hebron) in order to develop public notification policies and communication plans, building on the Policy Paper issued by the MoLG and the Reference Manual for Public Participation developed by the Global Communities.
These objectives and the final desired outcomes will be achieved through distinctive combination of diversified scientific tools to be used in participatory approach with all target LGUs in North, South and Center areas of West Bank, particularly the central workshops with LGUs task forces as an effective mean to build the capacities of LGUs staff, ensure their full involvement in change management, as well as to exchange experience between target LGUs in different areas of WB.
A specialized team of qualified 6 national experts start working on this project according to the best practices and highest standards of quality .The project expected to be end in October 2014 with duration of approx 6 months.
