Study  background:

This plan was a part of the (West Bank TVET Project) which was developed in accordance with the Save the Children Federation, MTC International Development Holding Company and General Consulting and training company. The objective of over all the  project is to improved quality and relevancy of TVET education of partner institutions, through development of strategic directions and strategic relationships, and cooperation with the private sector in the west bank .

After refining the collected data for the Regional Economic Status study the survey team was able simultaneously to develop an Action Plan for the targeted regions which included economic indicators, suggestions for potential growth and industry development in industrial zones, training needs, potential employer partnerships, refinements to the TVET Institute curricula and identification of employment clusters. The survey team included teacher, student, and employer so the student will be able to share their experiences in learning the process of conducting a Gap Survey, teacher to present their overall impressions of the need for upgrades in the training institutions and employer connections, and employer to make correlations between economic future opportunities and the courses and skills taught at the institutions. After the survey and conducted the action plan the TVET League and institutions were informed by MTC/GCT on the gaps identified in the schools and the economic indicators for each of their regions.

• Developed regional economic action plan for TVET institution including suggestions for potential growth and industry development, training needs, and potential employer partnerships for each region.
